I really can’t cook! I can’t cook a meal or breakfast or anything. I just genuinely f*ed up 2 ingredient banana pancakes!

But ... get this .... I have worked in professional kitchens for nearly 6 years! I took catering at college (uk college) I know all the terms and how to wield a knife and how to not burn myself etc.

If I cook at work it generally turned out ok, I made a mean lemon meringue tart and other bits I made turned out edible and quite nice. But take me home I can just about boil water! Everything I make tastes like it just came out of a cows rear and 70% of the time looks like it too

My fiancé cooks better food than I do but He has zero experience! I mean wtf is that about!!! And to top it all off the fire alarm gets really excited as soon as I pull the frying pan out of the cupboard!

I don’t even have to be burning anything 😒
