Baby not moving?

I'm 18w2d and every time I use my doppler (every couple of days) I always find the baby in the same exact spot in my lower left uterus. She doesn't seem to go anywhere else. That, coupled with the fact I haven't felt any kicks or flutters yet, is making me nervous.

I wouldn’t be concerned to be honest. Just because you find them with the doppler in the same spot doesn’t mean they are staying in one place necessarily, I think that’s just where you can access a clear shot to hear the heartbeat through your organs and such. Think of the doppler as a light saber beam, it could be actually reaching the other side of your uterus. I’m on my second pregnancy and I’m 19 + 3 and I just started feeling movements this week. It usually takes longer for first time moms!

Are you a first time mom? I’m on my third baby and I’ve only felt very brief flutters. I’m 17+4. With my first baby, I felt definite movement by 20 weeks. It’s still early!
