TTC after a D&C

On Friday 10/13 I had a D&C; due to loss of our baby boy at 13 weeks. our baby had a rare condition called Hydrops, which is fluid around his brain and body. This condition in turn caused him to have heart failure. Chances of reoccurrence are very small. My Dr recommend to wait until my first returned cycle, but I'm wondering how soon after the D&C; could it be possible to get pregnant again. I bled on surgery day only, and nothing more since. I really want to try for my Rainbow baby.. asap.
