cosmetologost??? My story 💜

anybody else on here doing hair? I just graduated cos school a month and a half ago. studying to take state boards now. hopefully be ready to take them by the end of the month! I would love to hear story's, struggles, successes... It's been a long year, well a little over. Here's my story! I started cos school on August 9th 2016 at The salon professional academy in kokomo! We had to do 8 weeks of theory classes to learn everything before we were able to go out on the salon floor. I ended up missing 30 hours while I was in theory so I had to start back over at week 2.... I was devastated, but it kicked my booty into gear and got my head on straight! My school had clients that walked in and regulars. And we had to sell retail and make our numbers each month. if we made our numbers we qualified or jumped to the next level. I ended up graduatung a level 3 out of 4! I never thought I would even do that! even though I had to start over I still had the same contract date so I had to graduate by August 31st. And I did. I GRADUATED ON AUGUST 31ST 2017 at 7pm. school closes at 8:30 So I was pushing it. But I did it!!! Now I am doing ace exams to get ready for starboard and I am a receptionist at a salon in wabash. I hope to one day have my own salon. I love to do crazy colors, layers, and cornrows! I hope to learn how to do weaves one day.
