3 days late & Negative

So I’m officially 3 days late an no sign of AF showing up other than some cramps. I took a test yesterday but it was negative. Could it be to early? I’m having breast tenderness cramps and some discharge. With every negative I get the more I feel like I’m disappointing my husband. I’ve never seen a man so excited and wanting a kid in my life. I literally sat in the bath tub and cried today thinking about the look on his face. It’s hard and I know it takes time. I’m just not good at dealing with this. Any advice.
