1st Pregnancy, Uterine Malformations
Hi all, first timer poster. I'm 4+5 with my first pregnancy ever, and super excited but also super scared. I have a septate uterus with double cervixes (cervices?) and a longitudinal vaginal septum (basically, take your normal reproductive parts and draw a line right down the middle from bottom to top). It's got some iffy statistics for carrying to full-term, a slim chance of supporting vaginal delivery, and a drastically heightened chance of spontaneous abortion. I know it's a long shot, but does anyone in the community deal with abnormal parts, too? Any advice, comfort, wisdom, or coping techniques are appreciated. My first OB appt is the 6th.
Thanks!!
