Ovulation

My fiancé and I aren’t actively trying but not actively preventing either, but I have a question. Do you get SUPER horny leading UP to ovulation or when you’re ovulating? I’m pretty new to all this. I have an almost 8 year old that’s a birth control baby, so I have literally no idea what I’m doing. I know a few things and I’m pretty sure your body naturally gets horny as a way of saying “let’s gooooooo. Make babiesssssss” but I’m not sure. Any insight is appreciated.
