So my sons father is in jail and I live with my mom but it’s getting cramped with 4 dogs my mom sister and son to be uncle living there. Also do not get along with my mom at all. I found apartment for just my son and I for good price so I don’t want to pass it up and also want my own home for my son. My sons father said he won’t be with me or trust me if I get apartment while he’s away and I’m only getting apartment to hook up with guys. Which definitely is not true he’s just not ok with me living alone but I am 21 and don’t want to pass this up I want my son to have a home I feel like that’s what’s best for him and I. What would yous do in this situation?

Ok well, his ability to make any 'morality' decisions has now gone out of the window given that he has abandoned you and your son and committed either many crimes or one horrific one- so no, he can't call the shots- what an insecure jerk. 4 adults, 4 dogs and a baby is just far too much- unless the house is huge!' Also, you are 21, if you can afford it you should be moving out!! If your BF is threatening report it to the prison and police and keep your address hidden. Sorry, but do you even want to see him when he is released?

your children comes before anything else. if your man can't trust you now, who is to say he would later even if you stayed at your moms. ALWAYS put you and your child FIRST. I learned that the hard way before I had my LO. good luck sister! 💜

Your sons father sounds like an insecure piece of shit. Leave him. If you need to get out of your moms for your babies sake, by all means do it. If he can’t understand that don’t be with him. Simple.

I know it is 'nice' for your child to have a father, but how likely is it that he can even get a job with a criminal record?? So will he never be able to support youAlso- you have to think really carefully about why is was incarcerated in the first place- is that good for you n baby in the long run? There are lots of charities to support you- and therapy groups- join one 😊 Also- he will def. want it benefit from your place when you are out- and would the landlord run background checks on all tenants?

He's not there support you guys, so that means you need too. He no longer has any say so with any life decisions you make! Do what you feel like is best for you and your son. Unfortunately he's no longer in the day to day life picture. I'm not sure when he gets out, but you guys would have a lot to work on, when that does happen. That's a very hard situation to go through and it will take time to be "normal" when he's out no matter what.

Get the apartment. Take care of your baby. Clearly he has some issues to land himself in jail and is being possessive? Sounds like he could end up being abusive. I wouldn't want my child around that.
