Divorced?

It seems like my marriage is not working out.. anyone divorced please reassure me there's life after divorce!!

Lol. Im sure there's life after divorce, and you'll love that life. I'm not divorced yet, but I'm hoping it'll finalize soon. In the meantime, I met this awesome man, who's accepts me inspite of that baggage. Literally, opens doors for me, making me dinner...the whole nine. So yeah girl. You'll be ok...probably be better than when you were married.

I got divorced right when I was turning 30. No kids (which I now know was a blessing), and I felt like the world was over. But as painful as it was, I realize now, how much happier I am without him. And I now have a wonderful partner, a beautiful daughter, and another baby on the way. And a house that doesn't contain yelling every night. Despite the fact that I still love my ex-husband in some ways, I see now how we were not good for each other.

My divorce was the happiest thing I done. I didn't realize how unhappy I was until he was out of my life. It hurt at first and took a lot of adjustments but yes there is life after divorce. I went out and had fun things I never done while I was married and now I'm with the love of my life! Hang in there😉

My divorce was the best choice I ever made. It's painful, stressful, and traumatic, but I would do it over again 100x. Three years later, I'm happily remarried with a baby on the way!

I got divorced after trying to make an extremely unhealthy marriage work for almost a year. It was heartbreaking and awful to go thru. BUT then I met a guy who treated me like a treasure and we have been married almost a year and a baby on the way. He was also married before for 5 yrs and went through a nasty divorce as well. 
While we both wish we hadn't gone thru our divorces, it's what brought us together in a way. And I couldn't be happier or more blessed. 
There is def life on the other side and for me, a much much better one!

Getting out of my marriage was the best thing I could have done. It was a difficult journey but so worth it!  At some point you need to make a choice to put yourself first. When you are truly happy with yourself life gets so much better!!  I am now re married with a beautiful step daughter, and we are TTC as well. Life has never been so good. I wish you the best of luck!  You are strong and you will survive it!

I made the decision to leave my husband, who I had been with since I was 18, a few months after I turned 30.  It was the scariest thing I've ever done.  I had been with him so long and everything about my works would change if I left.  And I very much wanted to have kids and was ready to do so, just not with him.  We were separated over a year before I finally got the courage to actually file, but luckily the process didn't take long from there.  It was easily the most stressful and emotionally trying time of my life.  I have been officially divorced for about a year now, and while I still cherish my time with my ex and miss certain aspects of our life together, I am truly grateful everyday that I was able to find the courage to leave and am much happier in a relationship with someone I just didn't fit with.  We have both found someone new and I am optimistic that he will someday feel we are both better off. I have found a true partner and best friend in my current boyfriend and we hope to start trying for baby #1 right after my 33rd birthday in August!
