Got Induce at 39 weeks, no complications at all, my doctor gave me the ok to do so, so I decided to meet him a week early. I came in at 12 midnight on the 19th nurses got me ready and stared with the first method they use to help the cervix soften, which I was 1cm and 50% effaced and -2 position. They inserted a long strip like a shoe lace kinda looking like to help the cervix open, by 8am I was only 2cm but baby had dropped and was at 0 position. By 9am the doctor came in broke my bag and contractions stared getting very strong so I decided to go for the epidural and by 2:07 Baby was out healthy as he can be. I only pushed for 15 minutes and ripped a little. Baby was 7pounds and 1oz 20 inches long healthy as he can be. This baby is my second child and I got to say I was very nervous to have an Induced Labor but at the end I love it, I had a great experience and the Hospital Staff were %100 polite, nice, attentive they were beyond wonderful. Good luck Mama’s!!!
