Waiting and more Waiting

I had my IUD removed a month ago and have been not so patiently waiting for my first period in a decade to start. I am nervous and anxious and thinking the weirdest questions like what if I was on birth control so long that my body forgot how to be normal? Feeling stressed when I shouldn't be. 😤😟 Anyone else been in the same boat?
