I just wanted to give a big shout out to the moms who donate their breast milk! I’m having my baby Monday at 34+3 and was told during my NICU tour the other day about how my daughter will receive donor milk until mine comes in and can keep up with her (it’s not forced you can opt out but I definitely won’t be!). I had never even HEARD of that! My NICU 100% prefers to avoid formula because of how harsh it can be for the tummy’s on their already stressed out little bodies and I can’t agree more. If you’re wondering, all these moms that donate are going through strict fluid transferable disease testing and what not and it’s lightly pasteurized to kill of bacteria too and then mixed with mine so she has optimum supply at all times! You guys are amazing a definitely don’t get enough recognition if I’ve spent the last 53 days in the hospital and only known about it a few days. So from this soon to be NICU mom....THANK YOU! 💜💜💜💜
