Background of us: been together for almost 6 years.

Background of him: anytime we get into an argument or any time I try to talk to him about our problems he gets angry. He doesn’t like to fix anything. And the main thing is he ALWAYS threatens to leave me during an argument.

Not wrong. It's important to set boundaries and expectations. I think it would be helpful to add something like: "we can't avoid disagreements, they're going to happen because we're different people. This isn't a bad thing. But I need to be able to discuss things with you when we disagree to find solutions that work for both of us." Most people are conflict avoiders and would rather ignore an issue than fix it. It can be really hard to get people to manage conflict with you in a healthy way.

Nope ur where perfectly right my therapist a long time ago said if want to be with someone they shouldn't be talking about breaking up its threatening and almost abusive in my opinion I would be a lot meaner u where pretty nice

mmm... I'm married and when things got rough with finances or whatever, there's a break up included in each argument. maybe there's need to be a break so he can see that you need to "talk" about things... men and some women don't understand that communicating is important in a (spouse/partner) relationship... we can do that with our homegirls or men with their homeboys. if he doesn't think y'all need to actually communicate then he's not for you!
