So I went to the doctor Wednesday at 38+1 and he said I’m 1cm dilated and my next appointment is scheduled for Tuesday. However for the past couple of hours (started around 1am so about 3.5 hrs now) I have been having painful, like grit my teeth painful, contractions. BUT they are averaging about 10 minutes apart. I want to call my doctor but I don’t want to call too early. Should I wait until they are closer

Together or should I just call now?
