So I had this dream that there were two babies sitting on a changing table and I was trying to go hold them...then I got woken up by this strong smell of chocolate chip cookies. My husband's grandma who passed in June right before our wedding was known for her chocolate chip cookies. I felt warmth on my stomach & her reassuring me everything would be ok. Then everything was gone.

So at this point, I'm like ahhh ok & freaked out. I decided to take a pregnancy test at 3am. I get my flashlight out and all and can see a VFL....like super faint at 6DPO...and only with a flashlight 😒 I'll post it but you won't be able to see it and think I'm crazy! But in real life it was there!

So then I'm like just go to sleep, you're crazy! There's no line and using a flashlight is a bit extreme....so I went back to sleep!

So then I wake up and am like I'll test with my morning pee like I'm suppose to do at 7DPO...

And, BOOM even my hubby saw this one!!! But before I showed him I had to tell him a fun way I was prego and luckily I've been saving for this very moment...like who doesn't?! Lol jk so crazy me already had all the tools!

So this is how I told my clueless and yes clueless hubby! He's an electrician so one Pom has an electrician themed onesie and the other had a baby corgi onesie cause we told everyone we didn't want kids & only a corgi lol we did want kids but no pressure from outside world. Plus, my hubby said if we ever have a baby we will call the bump Lightning Bug (LB).

And he's like aww cute but why are you being weird and dressing them up before you have to go to work!!! 😳😳😳😳 he didn't get it!!!

So then I popped out like...

And he finally was like omg and all excited!

Later that day I took a digital test...

Then a week after my missed period I took a cheap $ store test

So it's officially sinking in and we're freaking out...

So at 9 weeks and after our first prenatal visit went well we decided to tell parents & siblings only. We decided it would be a good support system.

We went to people's house (my mom's pictured) to tell the news. The pumpkin was actually written on but didn't show up in photo.

Then we sent them this photo, which will in 2 months be our public announcement

We were so excited to tell everyone...

But everyone pretty much already knew!

My mom said she knew when she came over and Guinness the GD got so excited and almost jumped on my stomach and my hubby became super protective.

My husband's mom said she knew when she gave me rekei a month ago & felt activity in my mid section.....ahhhhh ok?!?!

And our sister in law knew because I was wearing flowy tops!!!

So I only got to surprise my brother at least! Who was like....

But honestly even though they already knew they were super excited and like let's do this!! We will tell the extended family in 4ish weeks.
