I just need to rant a little about my experience this morning. Sorry for the long post ladies.

Im currently 38weeks 5 days. I woke this morning around 4 am with horrible contractions 2/3 mins apart. I timed and timed until about 5:30am and they were still at 2/3 mins so I decided to go into L&D; . We got to the hospital and they did a cervical check which I was at 3cm they said they would monitor for an hour and then see from there. They offered Tylenol and Benadryl for pain but i had not eaten anything the day before and i knew I’d throw up the meds because that’s how I’ve always been even before being pregnant so why would I want to puke/be in pain right now? Well... An hour later after still constant contractions another cervical check and guess what? Oh still at 3cm. 🙄 So the Resident came in said this was basically my new baseline and I would feel like this until I had my baby. She said due to me not reaching for meds while in pain and no cervical change it means I’m not in labor. So she sent me home and said to go back if my water broke or if my contractions sped up or got stronger.

My contractions are 2/3 mins and I want to cry with the pain but obviously they won’t do anything until I’m screaming in pain or beg for meds and last thing I want to do is eat so guess who’s out of luck. Ugh.
