When do you stop feeling pain after giving birth ?

I gave birth 4 days ago (natural and no meds) and I have to be on my
Pain meds religiously because I’m in so much pain in my crotch area and just in general. How long does this last ? I only have a first degree tear.

I ended up getting and epidural, and I was cut and had 26 stiches. Honestly I felt better and was up and moving on day two; but my doctor is amazing.

after my first baby it was about 6-8 months... he had a huge head and did a lot of damage to my down stairs area though. I ripped from front to back and my doctor lost count of how many stitches I had to get. the second time around was about 2 weeks and I felt just about normal.

I don't remember how long exactly but I know I was sore for weeks. Epsom salt baths every other night for 20 minutes really helped.
