bed rest?

did everyone do bed rest with there cerclage? my dr hasnt advised me to he just said no sex.. although i have chosen to take it really easy? seems like different doctors give different advice.. i had mine placed on thursday at 21w1d.. cervix was 2.7cm with slight funnelling

i just got my cerclage done 3days ago, the doctor said i dont have any restrictions as of now, she said to just take it easy!! But I’m going to be spending more time on the bed, I don’t want to take any risks with this baby!! since my first one came at 27weeks.
ill be seeing my doctor in 2weeks and than ill ask her again because she left right away so I couldn’t ask much!!

Hi Natalie! 
I’ve been on bedrest since May of this year after I got my preventative cerclage placed at 14 weeks. No driving, pelvic rest (no sex), no lifting or pushing of things > than 10lbs, no traveling, no prolonged sitting or standing (10m max at a time), 10m showers only daily.
