I needed a change from my dead end job and stuck in a rut routine so I packed up and moved to Australia for work. 6 months later, I got offered a full time position teaching but the catch was it’s in a rural area by the outback. Small country town, everyone knows everyone and then there’s me, a Canadian, city girl that stuck out like a sore thumb. I don’t usually go on things like Tinder, but I figured I would have a go, what’s the worst that could happen?! The first day I moved here, I matched and met with a guy, and now, almost 10 months later we’re still together, he’s sponsoring me to stay, and moving in together!
