Sleeping with pets while pregnant? 🐶

Question

I am in my very early pregnancy, but i am kind of worried if i should continue to sleep with my dog? He is a maltese, 3.5 months and he still doesnt have completed all shots. Is it dangerous for my pregnancy, me or my baby? I love him to pieces and my heart breaks when he cries and sleeps alone 😩

My three dogs sleep with me in my end. I'm at 26 weeks. I asked my midwife and she said it was fine and I'm continuing to carry on sleeping with them after Ive given birth.  They are also my babies too 😍😍

You will be fine to continue to share a bed with your pet.
And nothing they vaccinate dogs for is transferable to humans.

This was a very pregnant me and one of my dogs. I slept with my 2 dogs and 3 cats every night of my pregnancy. I have since adopted a 4th cat, and all 6 animals sleep with my daughter, husband, and me.
