SO I just had our sweet little girl three weeks ago. We live in a different state as his whole family so they haven’t been able to see her yet. His dad will be flying in on thanksgiving and his mom around Nov 11. His mom has a history of literally treating me like dog shit. She completely ignores the fact that I am his wife and I am the mother and has referred to me as an egg donor. She is also a very overbearing woman. Calls everyday a few times a day and wants to sit on the phone with hubby for hours. If history repeats itself she will completely ignore my requests. How do I ask hubby to set some boundaries about the baby before she gets here? I can’t ask because she’ll turn me into the bad guy but I’m also scared to ask my husband because he doesn’t want to have drama with her because he knows she’ll run and tell the rest of her family and they’ll start calling us freaking out on us.. I’m in a tough situation.
