He hit me

Me and my boyfriend went to the movies last night and took my little sister. Everything was going great. After half the move he fell asleep I tapped his face to wake him up and he smacked me right in the face. Right after he felt so much remorse because he wasn't fully awake. I know it was and accident but I don't know how I feel I just felt so numb. I can't look at him and I don't even want to be touched by him. He apologized so many times and I know it comes from the heart I just don't know what to do. He's never hit me before and my eye is killing me....Help
