Would spermicide kill precum you might have on your hands?

We didn’t end up having sex but I did touch his penis which might have had precum on it. Then I inserted the gel spermicide in me. It comes in a pre filled applicator. Sort of like a tampon. I panicked after remembering I didn’t wash my hands so we stopped and didn’t continue to have Sex.

If by any chance I did have precum on my hands and it got on the applicator that goes inside me would that kill any sperm found in precum?
