Greasy hair/ scalp?

I need advice on how to get rid of this?!😩 Lately when I'm going to do my hair ( especially straighting it) the top of my hair won't corporate! I run my fingers through it and I notice a oily texture. Now I always have my hair in a ponytail or bun because having it down looks so dull😕.
Pleaseeeee any hair advice I'll take it!

You can try using baby powder on your roots! My ex boyfriend's mom was a flight attendant and used that all the time

If you have loose translucent setting powder you can use that instead of dry shampoo! Most people who wear make up usually already have a setting powder so I think it's a lot cheaper in the long run to just use that for both :) 
Just take a clean make up brush and just brush it onto the oily parts of your scalp

Try a cleansing shampoo. Nuetrogena makes a good one. It gets out all the build up out. And then only wash a couple times a week. If you wash too much your body is going to produce more oils to hydrate the hair because washing deprives it. Also dry shampoo or baby powder until your hair regulates

Once you're all done your shower, before you get out try a quick blast of cold water on your hair. Especially at the roots. It's been working for me since I started it and my hair was at the point where it was greasy the very next day after a wash.

Are you pregnant or recently gave birth? How often do you wash your hair?
I use Not Your Mothers Dry Shampoo and it works great, especially with an oily scalp.
