My 10 yr old daughter started her first period this weekend and she’s so excited. I had my first at 10 as well so we started having the talk about 2 years ago. I know that’s young but my mom did not have one with me until after since she didn’t start until she was 16. I also had bought her the American Girl book that helps explain a lot of her body changing. She’s a book nerd like me and it helps. I thought I was prepared but I really freaked out. Not to mention I am 35 weeks pregnant with my second child and was not ready for all the changes at once. Wish me luck! A hormonal preteen and a newborn in my future. Many many prayers!!!
