Not my “spouse”, but yes. But I honestly hate that he is sometimes. We met when I’d just left the university I was at that I went to with my childhood best friend. It was always our dream to go to college together, live together and one day open a bakery. Well I’m now kinda doing that with my boyfriend, or at least that’s still
my dream and my boyfriend is very excited about my dreams and goals and wants to be a part of them. But me and my then best friend had a falling out and basically pretend like the other doesn’t exist. It sucks and it makes me feel really lonely and depressed cuz even though she was never the greatest friend, I miss having the kind of thing we had. It’s different when your SO is your best friend. I don’t like feeling dependent or needy. I want someone else to love in a non romantic way like I used to. I want to have someone that I know will be my maid of honor in my future wedding and be here in her wedding and those kinds of things. My best friends other than my boyfriend are my cousins who are the same age as me and other friends I made at school, but our relationships are still different. Idk. And I feel like my boyfriend is my best friend, but even though he loves me, he has his childhood best friends still, so I just get sad about it sometimes.
