Bad timing: moving at full term! Advice?

Nicole

I’m 37 weeks and because of gestational diabetes and a few other complications, my doctors are planning to induce by 39 weeks if he doesn’t come early on his own. So imagine my shock when our landlord called to tell us she needs to move back into the home we’re renting from her and we have 60 days to move out! She’s a sweet lady and wouldn’t do it unless she has no other choice, but it’s hilariously bad timing as my husband and I just got the nursery finished and baby could arrive any day!!

We found another rental nearby that will be available in 3 weeks and it checks all our boxes, but the baby will almost certainly be here by the time it’s available. We’re lucky to be in a position to hire movers and extra help, but am I crazy for trying to expedite the move ASAP? Really concerned about waiting until closer to our deadline to move out and not finding anything comparable (and having a newborn in the mix), Id rather get it over with and at least if we start the move now I can get as much packing and planning done as possible before baby comes.

Need a sanity check! Any advice/ideas greatly appreciated!
