NEED ADVICE:Ladies who have had an ectopic pregnancy please comment 💗

I was wondering when you ladies had an ectopic pregnancy, did you get a positive pregnancy test before you was due on? Or did it take you a while to actually get a positive?

Also, how far was you when you found out you were having an ectopic pregnancy?

I'm only asking because I'm late on my period, I have all pregnancy symptoms, but my tests are negative. But today I've been experiencing sharp pain on my left side. No sign of AF and I am never late.. always regular. Just a bit worried.
