My son is slowly eating more food and nursing less. He DOES still nurse a lot at night and comfort nurses... I'm going to slowly decrease until he's about 18 months and then give him my milk in a cup til 2-3.

At 12 months he was completely weaned off the bottle at daycare and having milk in sippy cups. At that point his nursing schedule stayed pretty much the same as before: nursing in the morning, in the afternoon when we got home, and at night before bed. That's pretty much what we are doing now at 18 months. If he's home with me all day, he also nurses before nap and sometimes also when he wakes up, but then we don't do his afternoon session. Sometimes he'll ask for it other times when we are home together all day. I tend to just give him water in his sippy cups when he's home since he nurses more.

At 12 months she increased but then she just self weaned a couple weeks ago (at 14 months).. I’m still a bit sad about it :(

My supply started dropping around 9.5 months, so he got less interested and was only nursing 3-4 times a day by 10.5 months. He self weaned 2 days before his first birthday. Up to then, he was only nursing once a day.
