Progesterone and periods

I was prescribed progesterone tablets to delay my period as I was going on holidays however I still got a period while on them so I stopped taking them it was only a light period but 10 days later I started spotting again for a day and half had anyone else had this or knows if it’s a withdrawal bleed or could I be pregnant
