2nd baby shower?

I'm pregnant with my second, I don't necessarily want another shower but rather a diaper raffle party or something! What are you 2nd or 3rd, 4th time mommies doing?

Prego with #4 and this is my second boy....my first some will be nearly 11 when max is born so we only have girl things. I wasn't planning on having a shower so I have already bought everything we need (I had given all my baby furniture and accessories away thinking we were done) my friends are throwing me a "baby celebration" or "sprinkle". I'm not asking for gifts but I think my friend is doing a diaper raffle. We are having it at our home, we are providing the food but my friend is organizing. We opened the crlebration to friends and families....kids and husbands. Very casual and more of a get together!

This is my 3rd baby, I have 2 with another man and my youngest is 5. I think a baby shower is like a birth of life. We don't know what we are having so I told my mom if she was gonna throw a celebration shower to have it a week or two after baby is born. I think a baby shower should happen once baby is born it's so people can come meet baby and give them a little something it's not supposed to have a party so everyone else can decorate your baby room. Those cute outfits you'd never buy yourself or those little things other moms have that you woulda never thought about. My own thoughts when I go to a baby shower I wanna meet a baby not your belly!! Lol

I'm throwing my own shower. Been 3yrs since my first and it's a girl this time so I have to start from scratch but I also have 2 nieces that I get hand me downs from so that's a plus. They will be a year older than her when she is born.

I'm on my 3rd different gender than my first 2 and different father and I didn't have a baby shower because my family already attended my first sons shower. My Bfs mother could have thrown one but isn't so I just went ahead and got everything myself

Im not finding out what I'm having and don't want any gender neutral clothing...I have two boys already...if it's a third boy I pretty much have everything but if it's a girl I want to go shopping! If any of my sisters want to throw me a shower I would want it to be either a gift card (baby store or resturants to order to go stuff) shower or diaper shower.

I've heard of a lot of people doing sip and sees, and I think that's such a great way to go! People can bring gifts, but don't have to feel inclined to. AND that's a great sanctioned time for people to see mom and baby, so it's not crazy all the time :)

I'm on #3 and we decided to have a gender reveal party. We'll provide snacks and drinks and still get to celebrate our lo without asking for anything. A diaper drive is a great idea too!
