My sweet sweet baby made her grand entrance into the world today! I came to the hospital last night at 7pm to start our induction process. First dose of Cytotec inserted vaginally at about 9pm. Started having some very mild contractions after that but stayed dilated to a 1, 80% effaced. A few hours go by and baby started having decels related to how I was laying. Easy fix! I stayed off my back the rest of the night. At about 4am I got another dose of cytotec inserted vaginally. At this point the nurse said I was a “tight 2” and still 80%. I got no sleep since I was unable to find a comfy sleeping position that baby agreed with. At about 8AM, my doctor made her rounds and when she got to my room, I thought I was uncontrollably urinating in bed. Come to find out, it was my water breaking!!! Had some bloody show and I was dilated to a 3 😩. She let me have my epidural which happened at about 9 this morning. I also got started on a pitocin drip and before I knew it (1030 AM!!!) I was dilated to a 9! The doctor let me “labor down” for a while and by noon we were doing some “practice pushes” to make sure babe could tolerate them. She did great and I started actually pushing at 1230. And my little girl was here at 1:01pm!!! I am still so shocked/happy with how fast/easy my labor went! And SO blessed to now have the most

perfect little girl I could have ever asked for!
