Lost and confused

My hubby and I have been trying 13 months. My OBGYN wouldn’t do anything until we have been trying for 18 due to my irregular cycles. Flat out refused to test, give me meds, anything. Switched doctors this month and he put me on Clomid 50mg days 3-7. Well now my husband decides he’s done trying. That this next baby and our son, who is going to be 6, will be to far apart and he’s tired of trying. The second I get help he’s done. He won’t even listen to me when I bring it up. Gets defensive and mad. I don’t know what to do. I know that once I got pregnant he would be fine. He’s said that if it happens it would be ok. I just can’t guarantee he will finish inside me when I need him too! (Sorry TMI). Any advice?
