Sleep training or CIO??? Advice needed

My 7th month old is still getting up three times in the middle of the night and eating. Do I just need to stuck it up and let him cry it out??? 
When did your little start sleeping through the night? Did you do sleeping training?

My 7 month old has been sleeping about 10 hours per night for about 2 months now. I never did cio. it was definitely a process though! I started periodically putting her in her crib when she wasn't totally asleep... mainly when she was wiggling around in my arms and not going to sleep. if she cried a lot, I picked her back up and tried again. if she didn't cry or just fussed a bit, I left her in her crib and watched her on the monitor. when she was in the right mood, she would usually roll around and eventually fall asleep. sleeping is still a day to day thing for her though. sometimes she just won't go in her crib until she is fully asleep! But she still is thankfully consistent with staying asleep for the night currently. the fact that she is able to put herself to sleep really helps I think because we all wake up briefly many times throughout the night and we need to put ourselves back to sleep. I think some babies just don't figure that skill out as early as others... and some might have the ability but not the desire because they want to see their mom! your baby will get there eventually. I would suggest just trying to put the lo in the crib sometimes while still a little awake and provide the opportunity to go to sleep on their own and maybe that'll push everything in the right direction.

My 7 month old also wakes up nightly, it's usually once or twice a night. I now just hand her a bottle and let her feed herself. She drinks her bottle, puts her dummy back and and goes back to sleep

I tried CIO and it didn’t work and now I feel awful about. My daughter still wakes up a few times a night. It sucks but it’s either let her scream in her crib or take her in the bed with me. I choose the second option.

Same boat. I tried the sleepeasy solution but just couldn’t do it. She ends up ugly crying and screaming and won’t calm herself down even when I give up and pick her up + she ends up being more clingy and jumpy whenever I move.
They say not to sleep train when they are teething, going through a leap or a physical milestone and that might be my daughter’s issue. She got 2 teeth and now the top ones seem to be coming out. She’s crawling, pulling to stand and yesterday climbed some steps 🤦🏻‍♀️

My seven month old has been sleeping through (7/8pm-5/5.30am) since she was six months old. We did the cry it out method when we got to our wits ends. Before she would fall asleep in my arms and I’d put her in the crib no worries, and all of a sudden she just started waking up and wailing to be picked up again the moment I laid her in the crib, no matter how deeply asleep she was beforehand. Nothing except picking her up would calm her (before a bit of shhing and patting did the trick) and I couldn’t keep doing that all night long or else I’d get no sleep. So we let her cry it out. We went back in every 5 mins, then 10 mins, then 15 mins as the week went on (even though a lot of the time in the first few nights us being there made no difference to her crying) and by the end of the week she was asleep within ten minutes. And just slept ALL night. Occasionally she will wake in the middle of the night, do a bit of a grizzle, then she’s back off to sleep again a minute or two later. I was so against the cry it out method before we tried it, but we’d tried several other sleep training methods and none of them really made a difference 🤷🏼‍♀️
