OMG 🤦🏻‍♀️🙄😂

This happened not long ago. My husband and I went to my parents for dinner one night and around 10pm he and my dad went down to the local bar for a drink. I stayed with my mom to watch a movie. Around 12:30am they weren’t back yet so I called my hubby but the calls were going straight to voicemail. I called my dad and he wasn’t answering. My mom woke up and asked if they were back yet and I said no. I called them a few more times until finally my husband answered the phone.

He asked me what I wanted (really?)..I was like um ASS it’s late and I’m tired and designated driver so let’s go. He goes “I’m busy getting a haircut and I’ll be ready when I’m ready”. Oh hell no. He was either covering for he and my dad being drunk or a fight happened there and they were involved. I was like Fuck this and went into psycho mode. I got into my car so fast and sped down the street.

I was shocked as I pulled up and saw the barber shop lights on. I made it obvious I was looking in the window. I see a bunch of guys laughing and telling one to look out the window. Holy shit my husband was really getting a haircut!! It caught me off guard especially since I know how he would have reacted if I told him I was at the salon after midnight. In the meantime my dad comes from across the bar and starts laughing. He didn’t think I’d come there to spy but hello.. what was I supposed to think, especially since he’s never lied about his whereabouts. Haircut after midnight sounded weird. All of my gfs agreed too lol.

Soon after we went home and I had texted my mom to give her the 411. Now I laugh harder about it but I was definitely ready to kickbox someone in the face that night 😂
