3 way relationship

So me and my wife have been together for just under 7 years. When we first got together we were in an open bisexual relationship so we could sleep with other women and men as long as we didn't run around with a girlfriend/ boyfriend. So pretty much just fuckin. We stopped as we got pregnant particularly she. now fast forward 3 years we have invited our Baby Daddy back in since we've been ttc unsuccessfully with random guys. It's my turn now to pop out a little one. problem is he lives in the middle of the country so timing is everything and can make this damn near impossible. Anyways I'm writing because this week has been amazingly fun. We've each got to spend quality time with him and our daughter and all together as a family. Our daughter has been so happy seeng her daddy (we don't exclude him but he has no "legal rights") I wish we lived closer so we could be in the poly relationship we all so desperately want (long distance isn't gonna work) However he has other responsibilities at home as well as other children to care for. I guess I'm gonna miss this old BIG head and will wait patiently for his return. what are your thoughts on poly relationships? I know its not for everyone, I'm only wanting your thoughts.
