Life advice, please!
Alright, ladies. I need some help.
Right now I’m “living” in the UK. I moved over to be with my British boyfriend, but it is insanely difficult for Americans to get a work visa in Britain. So, I came over on a visitor visa. This means, I can be in the UK for any 6 months in the year. Due to this, I have to go on “visa runs” every other month so I don’t get banned from Britain for 2 years! So, it’s England for a month, travel for a month, England for a month, travel for a month, etc etc etc.
I love traveling, but it kind of takes the fun out of it when you HAVE to travel. For example, I had a scary experience in Czech Republic halfway through my trip and just wanted to go home to my boyfriend to gather myself, but I couldn’t...
ALSO, I moved everything I own over to England. This includes my cat.
I’m running out of money with no way to support myself and my visitor visa is halfway through.
Should I return to The States in a few months, get a job, and start saving up for traveling/being with my boyfriend again?
Or should I keep traveling, even with no money? Where there’s a will, there’s a way?
I guess it’s a question of head vs. heart. I’m having so much fun in Britain with my boyfriend and traveling solo and meeting lots of people when I’m not in Britain, but I don’t want to run out of money, get stuck somewhere, and/or get banned from the UK for overstaying!
What would you do in my shoes?
P.S. Marriage visa is not an option lol. And he isn’t too keen on the idea of moving to America with me.
