Redheaded Moms with Matching babies? ❤️

I'm currently 13 weeks 3 days pregnant, with our first, and am a naturally curly haired red head (one of the three in my family) and full Hispanic, wanted to know the possibility of our baby being a lil red too! My husbands family is all brunettes and a blonde, and all full Hispanic too! Let me see them mamas with their matching babies ☺️☺️

My older 3 kids dad is mixed (black & white) but he's super light skinned. im white with blonde hair. 2 of our kids have red hair & our youngest has blonde. (a lot of his family members has red heads, no one in my family has red hair) so having 2 with red hair is crazy esp with him being mixed lol but possible

I have really red hair but I’m the only one in my family with it. I went to a geneticist due to family history of diseases and syndromes and I asked this!! they told me having a baby with red hair is more likely with a blonde haired partner because blonde is recessive but the recessive gene gets taken over by the incomplete dominant gene (red hair). But a dominant gene (brown, black) will take over any recessive gene (blonde) or incomplete dominant gene (red). So in your situation it’s hard to know exactly what colored hair your baby will have!

I say anything is possible. My dad is a blonde my mom is strawberry red. They have my brother who is blonde with red highlights, me who is brunette with alburn highlights. ( I highlight it blonde and red) and my sister is strawberry red like mom.

I’m brunette, my husband is a blonde, and my son was born with red hair. It’s more Auburn now. I have a red headed friend who has four kids. The first had curly red hair just like here. Two boys have dark brown, almost black, and her little girl has light brown.
