Tattoo or no tattoo?

Question

So I've had my tattoo booked in for the end of November since August.
It's a small thigh piece as a wedding present from my husband to represent our family.
Today I found out I'm 4 weeks pregnant, I will be exactly 8 weeks pregnant when I'm supposed to get my tattoo done.
I've seen on Google they say you shouldn't get a tattoo done when your pregnant due to the risk of infection.
Should I get the tattoo done and hope for the best I don't get an infection, (I never get  infections) or do I wait till my babies been born in 2018?

No reputable artist will tattoo a pregnant woman. IF anyone found out and wanted to report it, that artist/shop could go down and owe fines. Is your tattoo more important than a healthy pregnancy? Just wait.

You wait until your baby is born. You said you “never get infections” but what you mean is, you have yet to get one. Not getting one in the past does not mean you’re in the clear. Doing so could endanger your baby.

😐 please wait. There’s no sense in risking it. Not to mention that tattoo artists license would be at stake just cause you want new ink now. 9 months ain’t that long, hold off.

It’s not just infections- the pain can also be worrisome in terms of heightened risk of miscarriage! Also your skin is so super sensitive in first trimester that you cant even legally have an eyebrow wax- so can you imagine a tattoo!!’

I had a tattoo booked in October but found out I was pregnant, i know the tattoo artist fairly well, he is very good friends with my partners family and he has done majority of my tattoos and he still said he won’t do it, (tbh I didn’t ask him to do, I said I am pregnant were do I stand) like a comment I have seen already no good tattooist will tattoo you while pregnant
