Do you smoke when your pregnant?

Generally want to know as I'm 8 weeks and want to know if anyone else smoked because I'm finding it hard to stop😤😷

U have to stop. Birth defects happen early and if you r still smoking u r putting ur child at greater risk of being born with a lot of issues or worse...so if u care anything for the baby growing inside u will do everything possible to quit smoking. I hear juicy fruit is great for starters talk with your doctor to find other ways to stop smoking and curb the cravings

I'm 37w 3d and still smoke my baby is really healthy. Just try to cut back some. I cut back to like 2 a day. For a while it was 1 but I was getting really stressed. Sometimes I smoke 3 a day but I try to smoke only 2.

I quit the day I got that BFP but it is so hard! Just take it one day at a time and slow down! Little by little kick your addiction. Just think of how much you love baby and how bad it would hurt you to find out that you may have harmed baby. You'll do what's best for your situation! I've known moms that smoked throughout the whole pregnancy and baby was fine, but I've also known moms with problems after smoking the whole time. Do what you feel is right and trust me it'll feel so good to not rely on cigarettes and you just feel better physically and mentally.

I quit the day I found out and yes it is very very hard and I still crave them but I know it's better for my baby if I don't. If it's really hard maybe try an e-cig? Most people are more addicted to the motion than the nicotine

I dont. I found out I was pregnant at 5 weeks and quit smoking the day after I found out. I guess it wasn't hard for me to quit because I knew it was harmful to my baby. So I quit cold turkey. It's not so easy for everyone though! I still crave cigarettes every single day. My boyfriend and friends smoke so it sucks but it's so worth it. :)

I did with my first but not with my second. I gave up cold turkey and haven't touch one since (now 10 days pp). It's all about will power and self want to quit. If you don't really want to (not saying you don't) stop then you won't, you have to want to. Good luck and I'm sure you will be able to do it

You need to talk to your doctor about ways that are heathy to quit while pregnant. 
My doctor was all over me about quitting before I ever became pregnant but when I found out I was pregnant with my son he told me to quit but to make sure it wasn't something sudden. I found out in jan of 2013 that I was 6 weeks and had quit by February. 
I am currently 5 weeks and am starting to quit again. It is different than quitting when you aren't pregnant. I had tried numerous times and it never worked. When I knew I was pregnant it wasn't just for me anymore. That's what pushed me. 
I quit until my son was about 6 months old and like an idiot picked it up again. I know the dangers of infants and smoke so I always changed clothes and washed before I would touch or hold my son. Never smoke inside or in my car. 
It is a struggle to go have a cig. I don't know why we do this to ourselves.
