Does the hospital provide receiving blankets & baby hats?

Mine gives everything you need for baby while you are there. From clothes and hats to diapers and blankets. You just can’t take any of the linens Home with you.

When I had my daughter 4 years ago, the nurse actually had just refilled everything, and told us she did it so we could take all the extras home with us... She was like " here, your gonna need lots of this , oh and take these, only and you'll need lots of receiving blankets....lol.  I barely had room in my baby bay for the clothes and stuff that I had brought from home...lol

My hospital only provided the first diaper.

They only supply you with blankets at the hospital where I live, but you can’t keep them they’ll just supply you with it until someone else can bring you your own ones

It varies hospital to hospital. I would bring your own because the quality is probably not so great.

my hospital did hats, a breast pump (I had to use theirs), clothes, blankets, diapers, wipes.. pretty much everything. all I had to do was show up lol I still brought two different going home outfits, one newborn and one zero to three months because I didn't know how big he would be. but yeah they did everything

Some/most do provide them during your stay but you aren’t allowed to bring the linens home with you. Definitely bring a set of your own!!

Mine gives both but you can't take the blankets home so if it's going to be cold where you live I would still bring your own

It depends mines just gave the blankets but no hat.
