Baking soda test ?

When are you supposed to do it ? Is there a certain amount of weeks you're supposed to be or whenever ? And if it fizzles that means boy and if it does nothing that means girl ? Just curious.  Thanks in advance

I did it around 17 weeks with brand new baking soda.... It was wrong.

Im 15 weeks 6 days tonite did it and it said :boy: don't know till may 22nd the gender.  Obviously it doesn't work for everyone .
But it's for fun... good luck
