This is my second baby. My first one was a C-section 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ (if your a first time mom do your research, or just talk to me about what NOT to do) and now I have an interview with a midwife on Friday for a Home birth after C-Section and I’m super excited!

this is my 3rd and I'm planning on doing a water birth with a midwife at a birth center. I wanted to do a homebirth but we live in a town house, so I am afraid that it might not be the best option.

Hospital birth with a midwife. Hopefully vbac but I'm realistic and may need a repeat section. I'm ok with whatever gets me a healthy outcome for both of us.

Planned c-section after an emergency c-section the first time around. They were actually very determined for me to have a "natural birth" last time, and my son was stuck as well as being sunny-side up to begin with. By the time they realized a c-section would be necessary, I had pushed for nearly 6 hours and both my son and I were in distress. He came out with an apgar of 2 and I ended up with an abdominal infection that put me in the hospital for a week. I almost did not make it, and I also had to wear a JP drain in my side for over a month after I left the hospital, which made it very difficult for me to hold my baby or breastfeed. I think natural births are wonderful and amazing, but I personally felt the "baby friendly" hospital put that agenda above me and my son's safety and well-being. This time I have a new OB who I feel I can trust, and I will be delivering at a different hospital. I've done plenty of research, and I'm choosing the route that is safest for me and my baby.

This will be #4 for us! Last baby was a planned home birth but was diagnosed with placenta privia, it moved JUST enough in time but was still very risky but I refused csection so I had a natural birth in the hospital. This one I plan to go unassisted!! (I've also had 2 other natural births in the hospital and one was induced at 43 weeks 5 days due to calcified placenta or I would have refused)

I had a hospital birth, caves and got the epidural but glad I did. My water broke so my contractions came hard and fast 🤷🏼‍♀️ but I had a hard time pushing and took almost an hour. I would have been to afraid to do a home birth because we live out in the middle of no where with no hospitals for at least an hour.

I want to have a natural birth inside of a hospital in case of any emergencies. I haven’t had any appointments yet so we’ll see how my doctor/midwife feels about it for me.

this is my 3rd. my first 2 came very fast. my second was half born in the car. it was so traumatizing. this time I'm going to be induced so that I'm in a controlled setting....not the ideal situation but it's safer.
