Oops, saw it backwards. Test may be defective if control line is so light

That's not a positive. You always have LH in your system, but the opk looks for the surge in LH, that's why the line has to be as dark or darker than the control line. If it's even a little lighter, it's negative

Mine did the same thing for 10 days. On the 11th day I was going to test my af had started. It did that 2 months in a row.

Hi Amy- I don't think that's a positive. Test and control should be same color, or test should be darker than control for a positive.
