Heavy Implantation Bleeding with PCOS?

Erynn

Hey ladies! I just joined the group, so I’m glad to be here! I got a positive this morning!! I’m so excited!! But I’m having heavy implantation bleeding. A little caution (TMI)... I have PCOS so my periods are nonexistent without birth control, and when I get them at the end of each BC pack, they are heavy and long, like 10-18 days. When I get them, I ALWAYS start my period the very next day after my last pill was taken. But I was 8 days late when my current bleeding started. My bleeding right now started last Thursday as just one spot of light pink tint when I wiped. Then Friday, it was a bit more noticeable when I wiped but still just tinting. Saturday and Sunday I just spotted dark brown/rust colored blood. Monday, Tues and today my bleeding is like a very light period. It’s a mix of all colors- dark brown, rust, deep dark red, bright red. I assume all this is because of how my regular cycles are just very heavy and long. It makes sense that implantation bleeding might follow that same approach. But this bleeding now is MUCH lighter and shorter than any period I’ve ever had. So my question is, do you think it might be that because my cycles are usually very long and heavy, that my implantation bleeding could be a bit longer and heavier than the average woman?
