Can Cysts on overies affect pregnancy??

Hey. so when I was 14 I had severe pain during my AF and we discovered I had cysts on my ovaries. The doctors put me on BC to even out my hormones which ended up releaving my pain. I got off BC in June and I've been TTC since August. I know it hasn't been very long but I haven't been to the doctor about the cysts since I was 14. the doctors said more than likely they'd go away with time. but I've never had it checked to be sure. I don't experience that pain during AF anymore so I'm hoping they're gone. But I'm wondering if anyone has and personal experiences with this? can they effect your fertility? did you have them removed?
