Car Seats 😵😆😭

Calling all recommendations! Car seats are like way more of a challenge than expected! Ok so our guy is already >31" at 9 months (holy tall!) and that means we need our next stage car seat soon, as we max out at 32". And so! The struggle begins 😓

We have a Toyota Matrix and it is the smallest backseat! I didn't realize when we got it 7 years ago 😒 So tall kid + small back seat = few options. I've run it past a FB CPST group and they made some recommendations but the rest is up to me.

I am considering:

- the britax boulevard CT (it has a higher max shoulder height than the marathon by about 1.5 inches)

- the Clek foonf (holy expensive but heard it is an amazing seat)

- the Maxi Cosi Jool (we have a maxi cosi mico max as our bucket and have loved loved loved).

- the graco extend 2fit, (but as I said above, not holding out much hope it'll fit our car).

We shall be trying before we buy! But any experiences with these seats is appreciated!
