anyone else??

Question

so last week at my 20 week (exactly 20 weeks) ultrasound appointment to find out the gender I was told by doctors that I am measuring at 18 weeks and 5 days... my due date is March 15th 2018 but with how baby is measuring due date would be March 24th but since it's so close to my original due date they are not changing the due date... MY husband is worried how small baby is for how far I should be. Anyone have this happen?

I measured 6 days ahead at my ultrasound on Tuesday. I was told (by my doctor and the ultrasound tech) that at 20 weeks dating ultrasounds aren’t that accurate and you really shouldn’t base your due date off of it. Plus babies can have slow growth times and growth spurts. I wouldn’t worry about it all.

To my knowledge doctors don’t get worried when you’re off by 7-10ish days (ahead or behind). For one of my appointments my babe was measuring 6 days behind and they didn’t change the due date either. The OB never even really measured her after that in later scans because she said it was normal to be a little behind or ahead.

that's kind of odd because at my anatomy ultrasound I was supposed to be 20 weeks 2 days and my ultrasound showed that I was measuring at 18 weeks 4 days and they changed my due date from February 28th to March 12th
