on my last Dr appointment they told me they were going to send me to get a NT Ultrasound. They didn't explain what it was but that it was important that I make the appointment. I looked it up and found that it's an ultrasound to check the baby for a risk of downs syndrome or other genetic issues. Supposedly it's something that is recommended for every expecting mother in their first trimester. I have never heard of it and it worries me that the way that they told me means they might of found something in my blood or first ultrasound tests but didn't want to say anything till it was confirmed. I have the appointment next Friday and am trying not to stress😥. Has anybody else had this test? is it really that common??
