When your younger sister is pregnant before you

I'm TTC since the last 7 months and my younger sister who's only 20yo and not trying at all (not even in a relationship)...announced me today that she's pregnant...how I'm a suppose to react?

Omg I seriously thought I was reading one of my posts. That literally happened to me in July. We were all together(family from Washington state and the Midwest ) to finally have my dads military burial and mind you I’m 29 now been trying since we got married last October, my 20 yr old sister that has only been with the guy since March announced she was 15 weeks pregnant and that they also eloped. All under 5 minutes of seeing her and meeting her boyfriend that was really her husband. Come to find out she is now pregnant. That put me through so much anger and the green eyed monster jealousy came out. But I did have 2 stiff drinks that night at a bar and had a pity party. I never really came back from that day. But my sister always wants to spotlight. Sure enough she got it. She even told me she opened up our mothers Mother’s Day card in may to see if I was pregnant just to see if I was bc she found out she was...... But Even though they were here for my dads burial, There really is a better time for that kind of announcement. And that made me even more salty. Am I still salty about it all, yes... am I going to be an aunt, yes... but I wanted to me a mother first before her. I felt like it was my right to be first. I waited that long just for her to run past me. Some nights I cry. Others I have confidence and that my time will come and I will have the spotlight at the right time. I hope you have a better outcome than myself. Since I was trying for so long, that is what hurt the most. She didn’t have the decency to wait or even use protection. Soooo here I am, and I laughed yesterday bc she plans on having a full blown wedding come june2018, and if I get pregnant before then, I won’t be able to fly🙄 so either way girl you will have a pity party for yourself. You are allowed to. Don’t let anyone tell you different. Just don’t let her know you are bitter and don’t talk to family about it. Some don’t understand. Little by little you will let it go. And remember, we will have our spotlight soon. When our time is RIGHT. ❤️❤️baby dust and much love!!!❤️❤️

that's okay honey, my druggie sister told me she was pregnant with her 4th and that perplexed me lol. thankfully it was all in her head, yet it's unfortunate because she's so sick.
